COLD AGGREGATE FEEDER

Cold aggregate feeder is made from M.S. plates and mounted on robust chassis. Each bin has independent conveyor belt & is driven by synchronized variable speed D.C. motor coupled with hollow shaft gear box for feeding the aggregate at a uniform predermined rate through a precision adjustable bin quadrent gate. A continuous type belt weigher ( Load cell ) is mounted on gathering conveyor for weighing the aggregate fed into the drum which gives signals to Bitumen pump for proportional supply of bitumen. The gathering conveyor is driven by A.C. motor mounted with reduction gear box.

SLINGER CONVEYOR

Slinger conveyor is provided for transferring the aggregate received from gathering conveyor as well as from single deck vibratory screen after removing the oversize aggregate & discharge in the drum under combustion zone. Slinger conveyor is driven by A.C. motor.

DRYING & MIXING UNIT

Rotating cylindrical drum is mounted on robust chassis and fabricated from steel plates. The high pressure jet burner is fitted on structure from cold aggregate is feed in the drum. The thermo drum is divided into two zones i.e. radiating zone & Coating zone. The plate is provided before coating zone to prevent fire of bitumen inside the drum.
